Journal Description
By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 5 July 2024, No.239/м, the Scientific Journal “Water Resources, Energetics and Ecology” was included in the List of peerreviewed scientific journals (publications) of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In 2005 the publication of the Regional Scientific Journal "Water Resources of Central Asia" has began with the aim of practical implementation, analysis and review of topics within the framework of global water-related initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan, climate and environmental studies, assistance in research activities, reflection of scientific results of staff of the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the Tajik National Academy of Sciences, scientists and researchers from other departments and institutions, independent authors, as well as strengthening cooperation. But after some time, the journal ceased to be published.
At the beginning of 2021, on the basis of this journal, the Institute launched the publication of a completely new journal - Scientific Journal "Water Resources, Power Engineering, and Ecology", which was registered in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan (№191 - MJ-97). This journal consists of three sections - water resources, energy, and ecology, and also publishes new results of research works in Tajik, Russian, and English languages. The scientific journal "Water Resources, Power Engineering, and Ecology" is the only interdisciplinary publication in this area and is published four times a year. The author(s) are responsible for the reliability of materials published in the journal.
